1) I have many monitors but my main one for now is a sceptre 20.1"
2) Input lag can be viewed as one of many things (often times things such ghosting and responce time are confused as input lag) Input lag is almost impossible to find if you only have one monitor but when compaired to a cloned crt differences can almost always be found. I good article on it can be found here (http://www.behardware.com/articles/632-1/lcds-images-delayed-compared-to-crts-yes.html)
3) for the price I couldnt complain but there is always room for improvement
4) I got bored with most FPS games in the past year so I'm back to ut2004 for now
5) I moved up from a smaller trinitron and notice differences but nothing that gives me enough cause to move back to such a large unit for a dorm.

1-24" Dell 2407WFP
2-Nothing noticeable in games, only in low quality movies. Even then, it's rare and most users would never notice it.
3-Very happy!
4-BF2, Q4, HL2 & EP1, FEAR, COD2, and ET.
5-LCDs are a must if you play for many hours at a time. Your eyes will burn if you use a CRT for long periods. Other than that, my monitor has been great as an 'awe' factor when people see my computer. Only complaint is that not enough games have native widescreen support.
