whenever i hit alt-prtscr, whatever is in the clipboard disappears, but the screencap doesnt get taken. when i try to have the firefox extension 'screengrab' take a cap of the firefox window, its says that java threw a PrivilegedActionException... anyone know what the cause of this might be?

im running a 2007,3007w,2007, & samsung 910t off of two 7950gx2s....

occasionally alt-prtscr will work, but really hardly ever....

Ive always just pressed the print scrn key alone and then paste it in a paint program.

alt+printscreen is for grabbing active windows, or the whole desktop if no window is active, Im guessing since your running soo many moneiters their might be a conflict somewhere. I'd just try the regular printscreen and try pasting that into paint/pshop/etc,

Sounds like a java script exception, although why would their be one for copy/paste?.. hmm, not to long ago I got some wierd spyware that would not let me copy and paste, I would copy and it immedietly deleted from clipboard. Try running your usual anti-spyware and anti-virus programs

Use Gadwin PrintScreen. It is free, can capture either the whole desktop or just the active window, saves automatically after the keypress with a numbered filename and a specified extension. No need to open MSPaint at all anymore.

what happens when you hit just prnt scrn by itself (no alt) then open MS paint and hit paste or control V?

What are you running that's 6000+ pixels wide? 2 2007's and a 3007 is only 4960...only 800 more when not on end.

I run 5120x1200 and can take prnt scrn's like normal and your screens should be very similar but taller.
