Ok. I have been looking at plasma tvs. I would love to get a 37" or 42" Panasonic. They have the best contrast ratios at 10,000:1.

Anywho...I would like to buy one from newegg. Their prices are between $200 and $450ish. But...and it is a big one - read thier return policy:

Bulk Item Return Policy

Return for refund within: non-refundable
Return for replacement within: non-replaceable

This is our Detailed Bulk Item Return Policy. Bulk Items (including but not limited to such items as Air Conditioners, Home Entertainment Systems and Televisions 24 inches and larger) cannot be returned to Newegg.com for refund or replacement service. Therefore, you are urged to carefully examine the box your bulk item ships in before signing for the package. Should you observe any damage to the shipping box, or if the wrong product was sent, you must refuse delivery while the shipping courier is still on the premises. The item will be returned to Newegg.com and you will be refunded the full amount, including applicable shipping costs and tax.

If you determine upon inspection that the condition of the shipping box is satisfactory, an adult is required to sign the shipping courier's release form to complete delivery. By signing this release, you are acknowledging and agreeing to Newegg.com's Terms and Conditions, understanding that you cannot return the television to Newegg.com and that the condition of the delivery meets your expectations. After delivery, please read all included documentation and/or contact the manufacturer directly to determine applicable warranty coverage, if any.

How can newegg have such a good policy for all their other returns and have a non-returnable, non-replaceable, policy for plasma televisions.

What in the h#!! is that about? How can you sell a product and not take any returns at all. I already ordered my whole computer with them because of their supposedly stellar reputation.

What gives?

Don't do it. That policy sucks.

Have you considered finding a black friday deal on a TV?

No. Considering I have no clue what that is. Google might know though.

Ahhh...the infamous Black Friday. That would be the day after Thanksgiving (to all you neophytes). Lol, jk. Good call though. I will definitely check on it. But it is really hard to get in on any of those deals. When you have to be there in person anyway.

Let me know if you see any!! :)

i got my panasonic from www.visualapex.com , they rock. they included the BNC adapters for free, and they were simply great thru the entire purchase and setup process. I'd highly recommend buying from them if you are going to purchase over the internet. Also, they are an authorized dealer, which is very important because it means they won't screw you over. And their prices are awesome...i bought a 8 series 37" close to 2 years ago when they came out for more than the 42" hd's are going for now...man, for a few more hundred i coulda had a 50"...
