Ok, for all the other things NEwegg does well their dead pixel policy on LCDs kind of sucks. So, what are some other places, either online or B&M that sell good brands and models of LCDs and have a good return policy? I'd think the retailer would be the best place to get fast service, but manufacturers obviously handle these issues as well, if so which manufacturers are best?

If you can find the monitor you want get it at costco so long as the price is somewhat similar to other places. You can return, or exchange, it to costco any time for no reason so long as you are still a costco member, also you dont even need the recept for returns.

Thread revival I know... - but I've got another good answer to the question!
NCIX.com is a chain store from Canada with a website - they'll ship to USA as well, and they have a ZERO dead/stuck pixel policy which you can pay an extra 20-30 for at checkout. I've read others' experiences involving at most 5 swaps with this policy, but all ended up with their perfect monitor.

Circuit city will do it for free. If you buy a monitor there and find it has a dead pixel, just take it back and ask for another one. They will gladly give it to you. They have good deals on monitors sometimes. They have better deals online but when you account for shipping it all just about works out to be the same.
Office Max has a 14 return for any reason policy, too. That was important to me because they wouldn't let me test my Soyo 24" on site (the first one was perfect out of the box).
My first LCD was purchased at CompUSA and they let me open the box right there on the premises and let me test it before I bought it. I purchased my 2nd LCD from CompUSA online, and they replaced a total of THREE (yes, 3) 20" panels before I got one that only had one red sub-pixel dead. They also cross-shipped, but they required my CC#--though they didn't charge it at all, they might have put a hold on amount. They probably would have replaced that one, but I couldn't because the rebate form needed to be sent out by a deadline.
