I have a strange situatin. I have an IBM P260 21" I would like to use as a second monitor. The only proble is the anti glare coating is goofed up. Does anyoe know how I could remove the remaining anti glare coating down to the bare glass? I think there is a special chemical for this exact purpose but I dont know what its called or where to get it.

Bender, there's much info about this via Googling

Here's a few tips:

This is Dans advise from Dansdata:

Use a power drill, lambswool buffer and abrasive ranging from "very very fine" to "subatomically fine". The result's a shiny polished coating-less CRT, and some toxic leaded glass dust.

And yes, scratches that you can see but not feel do, apparently, vanish when you do this. You can't do it with the casing still on the monitor, though; that'll stop you from buffing the edges and corners of the visible area properly.

Here's a few more different suggestions although I have never tried any of them, so take the info with caution my friend:

Scroll down to tip #10 (http://www.ehow.com/tips_940.html) and see that theres many suggestions.

One last suggestion is to perhaps buy this glarebusters spray on substance to rejuvinate your glare issue. https://www.glarebusters.com/
