I have had my asus v9999 gamers edition (version of the 6800 ultra) installed in my comp for a while now.
I am curretly using a acer 17" flat panel monitor going into the VGA port on the card leaving the DVI free.
One of my mates gave me a VGA to DVI connector so i decided to use a spare crt and have a go at dual monitor. I connected the monitor, changed the settings to a dual monitor and then re-started. But when i restarted the crt screen(the one i just added) was really really dark, even with the brightness on full.
So i change the monitors around and then the same happened to the TFT monitor that was working fine before, and the crt that was dark was now fine.
So i figured that the adpator that my mate gave me was broken so i use my DVI monitor from my other computer pluged that in and that did not even get a signal, it didn't show anything.
So what are your thoughts, common problem, is my card fcuked or did i do something wrong.
