i want to buy a gaming crt monitor. i can order online but i'd prefer to buy local. does anyone know if fry's still carries good crt monitors or are they all lcds now

The 'wtb" aspect throws it off. You're probably right, but he worded it wrong. If he was just looking for a CRT suggestion, ussually they post that in the title.

I strongly suggest that you guys dont actually deal outside of the classifieds as I believe that will get you banned from them. The rules are pretty strick about this and for good reason.

I don't think anyone is breaking any rules per say. No one is making offers directly. I might be mis-reading, but we're helping him directly because he's asking to buy something local. If anything, this thread should be moved to "WTB" section. I personally don't see any offers/deals going on in this thread....

People may make the assumtion you want to sell it to him via pm. ;)

Anyway, I personally don't have much experiance with monitors. I have some old 17" 'Sylvania' monitor that has an area on the monitor that goes crooked... However, I do like this Mitsubishi Diamond Plus 91... Only problem is that it's kinda heavy going to lans...
