I take ammonia free window cleaner and dilute it with water 50/50, and then only spray a tiny bit of it onto a cloth or napkin and then wipe the display off... I've heard that using straight window cleaner like windex or something can hurt your screen. Hope this helps.

Should be just fine, just barely get your cloth damp, you dont want much of that stuff on ur screen, just enough to take the fingerprints and stuff off.

*Dons his Repair tech hat of doom*

Ok from being a Dell and HP certified tech I will straight out tell you the following.

DO NOT SPRAY ANYTHING ON THE SCREEN

DO NOT USE ANYTHING THAT HAS ANY LIQUID DRIPPING OFF OF IT

If you do either of the preceding statements I promise you that you will eventually have a nice prominent wet smear behind the LCD which isnt covered by warranty.

You want a rag, cloth, paper towel etc that is barely damp. Do not spend the money and buy those crappy LCD wipes they are overpriced and no better then a bit of windex to clean the screen. I have seen no problem at all with using straight windex to clean an LCD and would love to know why you shouldnt do it.

A damp paper towel (water) worked like a charm for my screen. Seriously, water is enough to remove just about anything from the screen. I want to know what guys are getting on the screen that requires chemical cleaners to remove... LOL.
