Anyone want to venture a guess at how much I paid for an old 21in CRT with 19.8in viewable space? I mean it only ways like 100lbs (felt like it, it's not movin from where its at) - 2 ~ 3x bigger than my old 17in.

$0.05

Yes.

That is right.

Zero Dollars, Five Cents.

My step father's work was auctioning off old equipment and this NEC MultiSync XE21 just so happens to wind up in there. My stepdad called me up and told me it was being auctioned off and I mean hell, even if it is a POS it's bigger than less than 17in viewable. I said, haha ok, put 5 cents on it. Winds up I got the monitor. For being rather old it's actually in quite good shape. Picture quality is astonishing for being an old tube, along with HUGE VIEWABLE SPACE...omg...I've never owned a monitor this big. Games look freakin amazing on this beast. Today has been such a great day...This among a handful of other things....and nothing went wrong...woot!

Nice score. I have the NEC 22", virtually the same. It's very sensitive to interference (water pump makes the image dance LOL) but awesome for gaming.
