I have a feeling that my monitor is going. This doesn't happen all the time but it happens alot. When my monitor goes to power saveing mode after the pc has been idle for some time it gets all weird after I come back and it wakes up. The screen has moved up or down and the sides are not as wide or the top is in far in and the bottom is the same. Like a triangle with the top being smaller than the bottom. Or sometimes its reversed. Sometimes the screen is been moved way up and the bottom has a 1-2 inch black space. Kind of like when you change the resolution and you have to adjust the monitor setings to fit the screen. But this happens alot.
Lets say I have to adjust the top as it has pulled the top -><- and the bottom <-->. Looks like a triangle somewhat. I get it fixed and then after some time leave the pc and come back later and move the mouse or if I turned the monitor off and then turn it back on it will have reversed itself. The bottom will be -><- and the top will be <-->. And the screen might be 2 inches to far up or 2 inches to far down. I also have the <--> maxed out to 100. And I can't spread the picture out anymore. Is ther any way to fix that? Or anyway to fix the monitor to stop doing this. I dont really want to go out and buy a new monitor right now.
Monitor is a Sony Trinitron G410 and I have the latest drivers for it.
