pah, IBM monitor, you'll regret that in 30 years time, your grandchildren will be whining "Poppa! Why can't we have a 3Vis display like the other kids" and you'll be like "I'm not building you a PC with a 3Vis display when that IBM monitor is still so perfectly bright and crystal clear..."

The freaking things are indestructible, you'll never have an excuse for upgrading!

If you don't mind buying used then scope your local craigslist: http://www.craigslist.org/

Pro's:
- Dirt cheap, many are practically giving away 21" crt's ($25~$150 average)
- No shipping fees or risks
- Demo the monitor in person before you buy
- You can pretty much buy 4 or 5 of them for the same price as a new one

Con's
- They're used/not new

I bought an almost new 21" Sony/Dell trinitron P1130 for $75 from an older gent the other week. It had only been used for a couple of hundred hours, stored in it's original packaging, and appears to be brand spanking new in every way (it even had that new plastic/electronics smell). I already had a nice 21" but i just couldn't pass it up...thanks to craigslist :D
