SDM-P234/B - 23" Premier Pro LCD Monitor a good choice?
I can get it for $1100 off of newegg.com vs. $900 for the dell 24"
.25 Pixel Pitch
1920 X 1200 native res
16ms

What do you guys think of this: http://www.sonystyle.com/is-bin/INTERSHOP.enfinity/eCS/Store/en/-/USD/SY_DisplayProductInformation-Start?ProductSKU=SDMP234%2fB&Dept=computers&CategoryName=cpu_Displays_FlatPanelLCDs_20%22

VS. The Dell 24 inch.
Lets say that money was not a factor.

You probably won't have to send four of these back to get one without bleed issues.

In reference to the Sony or the Dell?

I don't own a Dell, but a number of people on here have had complaints about backlight issues.

Dell 24"...people might have had problems but when I bought it, the company did dead pixel check, bleeding, etc before sending it to me. I thought that was sooo kool as monitor was perfect.
After several months, still no problems.

Only shame is that soon I will have to say goodbye to the 24"...

I would go with the Dell 4 usb and the card reader and the price. I think this think is so sweet(wish it was bigger) Mine came through perfect. We are going to get another one to use as a tv. :)

i have had the 23" sony for just over a yr now and i have had no issues what so ever. Ya it doesnt have usb inputs and a card reader but i dont care cause its a monitor. I personaly like the looks of the sony better as the dell just looks like cheap plastic to me.

You cant really go wrong with either one i guess.....

if i were you though i would save the money and put it towards the 30" dell.....then you would have the latest and greatest.

I think the 30 inch Dell may be out of my budget. We will have to wait and see. Thanks for the response.

They've got that Sony at the CircuitCity close by, VERY nice monitor I couldn't help but play around with it for a little while. If you have a CC near by I suggest you go take a look at it before deciding on either.
