Anyone still have a link for a good deal on a Dell 2005FPW? Right now on dell its 463$...anyone have a link for a lower price or a coupon they could give me?

They should get cheaper around February when Dell is expected to launch the updated 2005, which is the 2007FPW. They will probably be looking to dump their remaining 2005 stock around that time.

no, the 20** signifies that they will be the same size (I am almost positive). I think they will lower response times, add HDCP, and maybe component imput? They will want it to compete with the Gateway FPD2185W

The only thing that seems to be positive at this point is that is will include HDCP. I emailed Dell about the component input, but they danced around the question. Gotta wait unil February I guess.

If i was gonna drop that much cash, i'd just have to save a bit more and get the gateway. It seems to be a nicer all around screen.

Wait until the 2007FPW comes out, then make that statement. I might still agree but I want to see what Dell can do.

I'm pretty sure that there will be no LED backlight, especially since higher-end monitors dont even use his technology yet.
