Planning to run monitor as an lcd tv

Well, here is my plan im trying to find a adapter which split your standard tv cable into 3 rca plugs (video, and sterio) in order to use my lcd panel to watch tv with, as well as play on the computer.

are you saying you want to use your LCD TV or regular TV as a computer monitor?

ahhh silly me i cant run my lcd monitor as a tv because it doesin't have channels :P

unless you buy a tuner card...

To do what you want, you either need a cable box with VGA (or DVI if your monitor has it) out, or you can add a TV tuner card to your PC like thegeek mentioned.

yea, i JUST thought of that about a second ago, and sure enough someone already replyed... i guess it will work, but i was only planning to use my monitor. I guess that the tuner card will be a better idea
