I'm confused with how to make my monitor display in widescreen. I have a sony GDM-FW900, the 24" CRT, but I'm not sure how I can make it fullscreen. Should I use the Nvidia or WIndows method to display my resolution? Do I have to do something in my monitor's settings first? Anyone with a trinitron should know this. Thanks.

I meant fullscreen, sorry. I figured out how to kind of do it, but I'm unsure how to get the perfect ratio. What I did was first make the resolution widescreen, and then I used the monitor's stretch thing to make it fill the whole screen. It's not crappy, but I can tell that it's not the right ratio....

what video card do you have and what video drivers installed?
Do you have the inf for the monitor installed?

Change the resolution to a 4:3 ratio (640x480, 1024x768, etc) then use your monitor adjustments to make your picture fill the screen. Is that what you're talking about?
