(Frantically listens to suggestions from the audience)
I'll take $2,000.01, Bob!

Damn Bob Barker always telling people how to bid! :)

From Dell's website:
"Video Input: Analog RGB, Digital DVI-D TMDS, S-Video, Composite Video"

There is no way it can only have DVI, for 2200 it should connect to EVERYTHING!!!!

And it is sort of Ironic..... LCD's were supposed to give you back your desk space , since CRTs were too deep... Now LCDs are getting too wide... This baby won't even fit in my computer hutch... Lol...

I hope this causes the FPW2005s to drop below 350.xx :)

heh true lord, but just thing how big a 30" CRT would be!

Anyway, I can't wait for the coupons, wonder how low they'll go?

They are the same LCD.

If you misquoted, and meant the Apple, I don't see how, seeing as how they have different response times and contrast ratios, and I think viewing angles.

the dell and the apple lcds are definitely not the same

From Dell's website:
"Video Input: Analog RGB, Digital DVI-D TMDS, S-Video, Composite Video"

This is incorrect.

The Dell site lists only DVI-D TMDS for video input. See:
http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/systems/3007WFP/EN/setup.htm
and
http://www1.us.dell.com/content/products/productdetails.aspx/monitor_3007wfp?c=us&cs=19&l=en&s=dhs&~tab=specstab

There is no way it can only have DVI, for 2200 it should connect to EVERYTHING!!!!
<snip>

That type of assumption could end up being very costly. This monitor has only DVI.

the dell and the apple lcds are definitely not the same

I'm inclined to agree with you. The brightness and contrast ratios differ significantly.
