Why is the Video and Sound forum locked?

As most of you have or will notice, the Video and Sound section has been locked from posting. In order to ease moderation and thread moving, and to centralize discussion better, a General GPUs section has been created. All discussion of other video cards or "versus" discussions belong there. Also, Sound Systems has been renamed Sound Systems and Audio Devices.

If there are any questions feel free to PM me.

Quite unintended...my apologies.

There was an inheritance problem with the forum permissions...now that I've gotten my head outta my rear-end all should be fine.

Can't clicking on Video And Sound just take you to general GPU? I mean, it's the exact same thing, except now it takes an extra click to get there.

If we had it go directly to General GPU, then people would inevitably post threads that would need to be placed in the proper category anyway, defeating the purpose of this change. It has worked quite well in the CPU section, which has had a similar setup for quite a while now. If people still have a problem with this, then I would encourage them to use the OC Forums EasyNav for Firefox found below.
