It works just fine. A while back I had a 21" Sony CRT and a 19" LCD running off a 9800P.

Yep. I am currently running a 19" CRT and a 17" LCD. You can set different resolutions for each one or keep em the same.

A great multi-monitor tool is Ultramon...I think its free, google it. Awesome little app.

Yeah, my first dual mon set up was with a 15" LCD and 17" CRT... It even works with different resolutions, but that makes draging windows a bit more fun than normal.

My multi monitor tools came with the video cards ive used - both nVidea 5600 U & 6800GT
And a friend of mine runs dual monitors off a 9800 all in Wonder with the stock ATI drivers i belive.

Pretty much no limit on multiple monitor sizes. I've done 17" and 5" once when I was checking out an old PS1 LCD display using TV out from my PC.

Actually the only limit is the number of available ports. I've seen mobo with 6 PCI and 1 AGP slot. If you fill all those with dual display cards with TV out and use the mobo's onboard video port you could get a grand total of 22 monitors and TVs. (23 if you find a mobo that also offers TV out)

Yeah, it may not be as pretty...but it works just fine

I have a 21" and a 19"...and I use a book under the 19" to level the top of each display ;)

windows xp has a limit of 10 monitors unless you pay them and get a program from them that lets you do more
