Ok... I'm sitting here on my D810, and it has an awsome screen - my favorite feature is such high screen resolution on an LCD (1920x1200)

This is great for me, plenty of space, and tons of options in gaming.

My desktop however runs a couple of 17in LCD's that only get 1280x1024 max res, and frankly i want to find some stand alone LCD's on par with my laptop's screen, that i can use with my desktop.

I dont remember ever seeing a desktop LCD capable of the res you find on a laptop. Although 1680x1050 on a 20" looks pretty good, I'm not sure I'd like it too much smaller. I run my Dell lappy at the native 1400x1050 on 14" screen. I love the high res.

Ahh, ok. I guess my 1920x1200 on this D810 has me a bit spoiled... i go back home to my 2x17'' 1280x1024 screens and i feel like im in safe mode. /shrug

Thanks for the help.

That's right. But that screen is what, 7" bigger than the laptop? That's a big differnce in pixel size. But I think the Dell is the best choice if you must have 1920x1200.
