Lol, i'm just about to start another thread about it.

I think the reason for all the hype is the comparitively low price of the LCD compared to the next cheapest widescreen LCD on the market. They really are very good value.

blitz....it's actualy both.
The LCD can be had for 350-400 US dollars and widescreen gaming is for lack of a better word, incredible!

I don't know of any new games which don't support widescreen res, and you have an advantage over people using 4:3 and 5:4 resolutions because you see more horizontally and same verticaly.

Also, for most people, they don't see any ghosting (and for people who do see it I think it might be mostly in there head IMHO)...which was a major detractor from most LCD's.

Yes Dell monitors are the only ones im intrested in ATM, i think dell could really make huge profits if they sold these in shops.

Its not that its in their head, the people who notice ghosting more just process the picutre differently. There are people who will always see ghosting no matter how fast an LCD is..

I got one of these a couple months ago. Replaced it twice due to the bleeding.. Finally returned it.. However it was more expensive when i got it, so if i can get it for under 400 with tax/shipping i would probally get it again
