Need help picking between these 2. I know the samsung doesn't have dvi the other does. The l90d has bad button placement.

Bad button placement? Just because it is underneath the edge of the monitor? Is that what's holding you back? DVI is important IMO, so really the choice is a no brainer. I love my Hyundai, and would probably only get a nice Dell over it (but that's a couple hundred more at least).

my roommate got a 915N and he loves it, I am going to be getting one for $325 here in a day or two from newegg.

The Samsung 930B is comparable to the Hyundai L90D+. Same LCD panel and same specs. The 930B also has DVI input.
