CRT picture shifted...

My family has had this dell 19 inch monitor for some time (its like 3 years old i think proablly older... It has the curved glass on the CRT) And around a month ago its picture got f'ed up and now the screen looks like it shifted 3 mm over so its a little blurry (ill get a pic when I get a chance). S do u guys know what would cause this? Can it be fixed (I know that answer is probally a no)

i had a sony g410 do that with it blurry only on the left and right sides about a half an inch, i had to get a new one. but if this is what your getting then i don't think you can fix it because i couldn't either.

ya thats what i thought... i was just wondering how it happened or if its something that just happens... so i could maybe prevent it in the future

ya i don't know how it happened to me just one day it just came up.

This problem happens with all Appature grille monitors. It just takes some warming up and it alway goes back to normal.
