I recently (yesterday) bought one of these at the suggestion of the members of this forum when I was looking to get an L90D+ locally. I searched around a bit to find a local dealer that had one; Staples is supposed to stock the 930B, but when I went and asked them about it, I was told that it was special order only. That meant that I had to travel if I wanted to have my hands on this monitor before I paid for it.
To the internet!
I found out that both Best Buy and Circuit City are supposed to stock this monitor, and the nearest of either of them was 45 minutes away. Best Buy was closer, and also $40 cheaper. Rather than make the trip and waste the time and gas, I called them to find out if any Samsung 930B screens were in stock. I was told that there were 4, and one was on display. We're in business :D
When I got to Best Buy, I was told that I could not take the display screen, nor could I open any of them to test. Fiddlesticks. I was told, however, that if I was "unsatisfied" that I could return the screen within 2 weeks. I paid my $430, recieved the paperwork for my $50 MIR, and walked out. Got home and searched thoroughly for dead pixels. None. YES!
This screen is very clear, very crisp, surprisingly bright, and very vivid. I'm in love, and it is HUGE. I've played CS:S and HL2 with absolutely no ghosting. I've watched several very fast music videos with no ghosting, and it looks great.
I have to say that this is a great screen for the money, and I highly suggest it for anyone who demands to get their LCD locally :)
