I guess it might help if anyone knew why you want to know??
I run 0 and 0 on my 930b and it's still a little too bright for me, though not hurtful on my eyes.

I use 60 for brightness and 80 for contrast, works good from me.

I'm just curious, I've had mine for about a week and was just wondering what other people were using for brightness/contrast.
Oh and.....Are you CRAZY?!?! 0, 0, you're not joking?

regardless of why you want to know, I would think this thread would be at least a few pages long by now. This is an easy +1 to the post counts of people who own the LCD.
I plan to purchase one sometime in the future, I'm just not sure in how long.
I've asked before in a different thread with no supporting response, but how well is fps on these monitors? I have a KDS 21" CRT that does 120hz at 1280x1024 (I don't like higher res for games, but I do 1600x1200 85hz for desktop). I set my fps_max to 100 in Steam games and just love it. With vsync on I get 100fps CONSTANT!
My question is... how much fps would I get at 1280x1024 with this monitor? I know LCDs aren't about refresh rates, but about response time for each pixel, so how do you figure out the fps with that? I was able to get like 300+ fps in HL2 at high res, but that was with vsync off. Vsync off isn't real performance for me... it's almost like cheating real quality in my opinion.
VSync on... can this monitor be smoother than my 21" crt? My monitor gives decent color, but it can do better.

No.
It's different, on a CRT if you run 0/0 the monitor goes black, if you run 0 0 on a CRT it's still very viewable. To be honest with you I'd run it darker if I could, the brigher the monitor is, the more often you can expect to get new glasses and headaches to boot.
The number ratio may be different for the Hyundai, though I'm really not sure.
