I really need to get a nice lcd lan monitor and was wondering what you guys would recomend because i just don't think its healthy to be carrying around a 19" 42pounder lol. I was actaully looking at a 15" lcd because it seems like the perfect size just for lans (no other use, i go to a lan like 3 or 4 times a month) the monitor i was looking at was this one LCD (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16824116303) but i looked at the 16ms response time suspiciously lol. is this too much for gaming? thanks

edit: I just talked to a friend and decided a 17" monitor is gonna b the way to go and i think that i'll go with at least 12ms so could you give me feedback on these monitors/give me a suggestion for a good one? thanks

They've got 4ms panels just around the corner. Hold off if you can, otherwise just get one of several 8ms panels around.

I have a Samsung 710N (17"/12ms) and it's been great. Light weight, bright/clear display, and great quality. No ghosting at all with games (Doom3, HL2, Farcry, Call of Duty, MOHAA, etc.). You can find them on sale nowadays for less than $250.
