Right now it seems that lcds are a lot cheaper than they were. But, are they going to get even cheaper or is some badass new monitors about to come in the next few months? Not that I necessarily need a new monitor now, but I have had bad luck with buying stuff right before something much more badass comes out so I just want to make sure.

I read an article on this that convinced me to buy -- yes now is a good time to buy. The estimate a total of 10-15% drop by the end of the year. Figure my 930B was $380 after rebate, in December it would be $320 after rebate.

Though, you may have to consider up-and-coming technology.

imo if you dont need it wait longer

technology is changing and is getin cheaper and better so its best to buy it when you need it

that's my view on it too. That's why I'm using an "older" system and haven't purchased an LCD yet, but I do plan on purchasing one once I move out of my house and into a dorm/appartment. Gotta have all the space I can!

I am waiting till this monitor dies. Shouldn't be too long, its been acting funny lately. I need to save up the money for it as well... hehe.

I think I'm waiting for the same thing, but this monitor is fairly new...

I might have to accidently bump it off of my desk so I am required to buy a new monitor :)
