Cheap 21" CRT's own...i got mine for €140 two years ago.

Theyre heavy and ugly, but size does matter here :)

You got a great deal without the shipping charges, most places are selling 21" Sony refurbs for $100-150 plus shipping. I've had mine for about 2 years now (paid $300 for it) and this is one monitor I will never part with, best ever for games.

That's a hell of a good price. I'm almost surprised they welcomed local pickups considering how many folks try to pad the bid amount with ridiculous shipping costs. Nice find.

Nice one ... I'm looking for a 19" CRT or 17" TFT here once the cashflow improves

I have a KDS 21" CRT that I bought about 3.5 years ago for $452 shipped. I still have all pixels alive and I can get 120hz at 1280x1024 :) I play my games at 100fps constant with vsync on at 1152x864 <--my fav res

NICE DEAL! :) Your res looks pretty high too. If it can do 1880 x 1400 @ 85Hz, then dude you're set at all resolutions under that. You can probably do 1280x1024 at the same refresh rate as me, maybe even better!

Nothing like gaming at 1600x1200 at 100hz.

I love my sony trinitron crt. I don't care if I have to move every 3 months and move the 70lb monster in and out of dorms/apartments... it's so perfect for gaming!

Maybe, one day, LCD screens will match their quality for a good price.
