I want an LCD; widescreen at that. I've seen many snapshots and the widescreen just seems so much better. It's almost like running a dual-monitor setup without the line in the middle.

Anyway, I was wondering if any other companies made widescreen LCDs besides Dell and Apple. Just kinda looking for other options as well. Don't want to feel forced into a monopoly.

As far as I know just Sony, Samsung, Viewsonic, CTX, NEC, Iiayama and LG, at least that's all I can think of.

Negegg.com doens't work right ;)

Anyway, I searched newegg for "widescreen LCD" and I didn't return any results other than portable DVD players and laptops. Does anyone know of any model numbers of other widescreen LCDs?

Samsung's is 243T. Nice monitor, but I'm waiting for the price to drop some more. I do have two 213ts and I love them.

Yes, I've heard of newegg...who hasn't? I was just making a little joke that was supposed to be funny, but....it wasn't

Sorry. But I will look. Just wondering if anyone had any others off the top of their head that were good.
