Sorry for my bad english, but babelfish rulz :)

Hi,

I have in the Mainboard specified above a P4 1,7 GHZ to run.

Because I can click with soft menu in the BIOS on USER DEFINE, create there also everything. Then 2v core runs volume days the CCU with then 2006 MHz stably with 118 MHz and, but as soon as I constitute the computer once completely and then restart beeps he like wildly rum and sometimes AE, those brings unfortunately both not described in the manual its at the debugger the errors C0 and. Also it does not function if I on user DEFINE clicks and 17*100 MHz adjusts, thus the standard adjustment and back on 1.75V click. The whole functioned unfortunately only if I do not go on user DEFINE, but adjust the Standarsettings for 1700 MHz. I hope that was understandably I think the problem now am situated in the fact that he correctly does not store the adjustments under user DEFINE simply. In the manual is located also:

After setting up parameter and exiting BIOS Setup, and having verified the system can be booted, DO NOT press the Reset button or turn off the power supply, otherwise the BIOS will not read correcty, the parameter will fail and you must enter SoftMenu III again to set up the parameter all over again.

Exactly these errors I do not have actually, but am unfortunately anywhere where I then this Settings verify can that they also really function. Would be cool, if someone could help me. Thanks in advance.

Bye Tobias.

Try adjusting one setting at at time to figure out what one is giving you trouble.

Some boards will reset the cpu speed if booting is a problem.

Make sure speed error hold is disabled.

hi,

speed error is diabled

no setting is giving a trouble. if i set USER DEFINE and user 17x100 Mhz with 1.75V it doesn't work, when i turned off the computer. I have to use the standard for 1700, not the USER DEFINE. Where I can't edit MHZ and Multiplicator. But there are the same settings in USER DEFINE and the standard for 1700.

I think he can't save the sttings for USER DEFINE :(

I think what your trying to do is overclock with the multiplier but Intel locks there multiplier so you can only overclock a Intel CPU by raising FSB front side bus and when it gets unstable you will need to raise CV core voltage to your CPU but before you raise CV you must make sure your temps are under 40C full load when overclocking heat is th enemy, i highly reccomend at this point that you read through the tips section and get yourself a good background and your PC will thank you later.

i know that my multiplier is locked

is just raised the FSB

BUT i have the same problem when i set FSB to 100 Mhz, which is the Default setting and should work!

But i get the same error. :(

Core Voltage is at 1.75V. Which is correct.

It always hangs when i use USER DEFINE. :(

Try reflashing the bios.

I now have my 1.7 Ghz at 2074 (122fsb). From around 108 fsb and up, I get almost the same thing. I can run stably for hours on end, I can reboot time after time, no problems. However, if I shut it down completely, it will boot allright, then halfway through windows boot, it restarts  , posts, boots again, stops and asks me if I want to boot in safe mode. I select Normal and everything works fine  It's really weird, I hope Abit will get this fixed in a bios update soon. I also found that leaving the "fixed agp" setting alone works much better.
