I have a Celeron 700 in my ABIT BE6 (with latest bios) running at 1.1ghz@1.9v. To try any higher, I need more juice, but 1.9 is as high as it will go. I know it can do more, I had a Celly500 in there before, and it sucked 2.0v, and it would let me go higher than that if needed (same bios rev). Ive heard of flashing the bios with a switch (-cc) but it didnt seem to work. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance;

Maybe you need a slocket with adjustable voltage? When I have my slocket set at spec voltage the BIOS only goes to 1.9v when I set the voltage higher I usually get over 2.4v worth of adjustments.

This is a brand new slotket, I reallly dont want to buy another one. I need a way to do it via the BIOS.
Thanks though.

Okay. The re-flash trick will only work with SoftMenu II. If the BE6 uses this you need to set your voltage in bios to its max, re-boot and flash the bios using the switches /sn/cc. When the flash is complete exit using F10 and then re-set, enter bios and set yer stuff up :)

Well, this is what ABIT said to do when you flash:
awdflash <bios_image> /cc /cd /cp /py /sn /cks /r
It does contain those two switches your talking about, but of course it has the others, which erase other chunks of memory. Ill give just those two switches a shot, and see where I end up.
:D

Which version of the BE6 do you have?
I have a program that lets you change the voltage in DOS, but just on later boards. (BE6-II)

I have the normal BE6 (not II unfortunatly).
Ohh, LutaWicasa, I tried that out. No go. It just gives me the same voltages. :(
The quest continues...

Hey Glitch, did ya follow my directions exactly ? You have to flash and exit flash prog in that manner else it won't work.

I believe so, I used those 2 switches only, then F10ed, then hit the reset button. Hmmmm.

glitch - did you get to raise your voltage? I'm stuck like you. I have a celly 600 O/C 928mhz. Its okay but I need it to hit the 1ghz. I have great cooling. I want to up my voltage through bios and not my slocket.
The BIOS flashing only works for the Soft Menu II, I think the BE6 has Soft Menu III. The best thing to do is get a good slotket with adjustable voltages like was already said. Should of got one of those in the first place if you were going to overclock. What worries me is that you guys want to raise the voltage and there is no mention of cooling or what your CPU load temps are. Do the cooling mods first before even thinking about raising voltage. Once the cooling is taken care of, then you might consider the wire wrap trick (VID pinning).
