:eh?: Wusup, i have a dell 8100 series, im not sure if this could be caused by my harddrive sounding like its starting to fail?, or my older video card goin bad?, but for about 2 weeks now my monitor turns on when it wants, i tried a different monitor same thing happens, i tried it in my other room , same thing, sometimes it turns on , sometimes it wont, i have my monitor on the floor right now, this is the only place it seems to be working, i got it to work, then i placed it on my desk just to see what happens and my desktop completely froze up, could there be something in the back or in the wall shorting something out"?, when it doesnt work and i take out the video cable goin from my monitor to my pc it, my monitor makes a click then another click and thats it, sounds like something is shorting out, but i dont smell anything, and its workin fine , as long as its on the floor?, anyone got any suggestions? i know its not my monitor cause i have 2 of the same, and it does the the same thing to both, thanx, i need a solution quick!, i cant use my monitor on the floor!, heh :bang head
