Ok was just wondering what the FPS limit was for a Dell 2001FP. Was talking to someone the other day and they said they were pulling inbetween 120 and 130 FPS with it. To me that seemed alittle higher, cause if I remember right I seen something here about 62.3FPS.

It's a 16ms panel? 1000/16 = 62.5

Your math is correct good sir :).

Doesn't mean your video card can't/won't produce higher frame rates if vsync is turned off. The max frames you'll see in a second is 62.5

Ok cause if say the max was 60FPS. I wasn't going to go look at 6800Ultra. I guess the 6800GT I ordered will be alright.

Supposedly the human eye can't even see the difference over 60fps, but gamers always argue they can tell the difference between 100fps and 200fps. (probably just because of the inconsistencies when playing games... dropping fps etc, more frames can be dropped or the fps slowed down more at 200fps before things look odd)
