new screen suggestions? please?

well my 17 inch lcd just crapped out on me the other day and im in desperate need of a new screen
preferably a 17-19 inch lcd with good response times (duh...) and reasonable refresh rates no lower than 75 hz cause it gives me headaches...
not looking for somthing too high end. more like a midrange screen.

LCD's don't really have refresh rates... They sync at 60hz which basically means that they can only display 60fps. It's not like CRT refresh though, you won't see a flickering LCD because it's only refreshing at 60hz.

I fully agree.

infact I have the L90D+ and love it for gaming.
I also hate low refresh rates in CRTs, and the new LCD seems to already give me less eye strain.

well i dont think il buy from newegg (i live far far away) but still...thanx for the info il check the lcd's out (a crt just wont fit on the desk)

well i was (and still am) browsing around sites and the hundai is too expensive...
how is the MAG LP917?
its a 19 incher...wadaya think about it?
