Well my friend has a Canon A60 it is in alright condition, a couple scratches here and there, but overall it is in nice condition. He is willing to let it go for about 40 bucks, and I thought why not?

Now he only has the camera and the memory card for it. Now what accessories do I need to be able to put the pictures I take on my computer, or the internet? Where can I get these accessories.

It is a good price but I need the accessories so i can put pictures up on the net. I wanna buy it because I need a camera as I have some stuff for sale, and it will come in handy when I need to post something for sale or such on the net. Thanks.

A year ago I purchased the A70....great camera, I must have taken 2 thousand pictures with it by now.

The A70 is the 3.2 meg and I believe the A60 is the 2.0 meg.

The A70 comes with the cd (drivers and photo software) as well as a USB cable, but I found these are really not needed....a standard compact flash card reader will do and Windows XP has all the software that will allow you to dowload the photos from the card.

Enjoy

Okay so I don't need the drivers, photo software cd's, or the usb cable?

I run Windows ME, how much is a flash card reader?

Thanks.

Yup, that's all you need. You're better off not installing any of the stupid software CDs anyways.

Irfanview is a great freeware proggie for looking at your pics (and correcting orientation and gamma): www.irfanview.com
