This thing rocks my world, the color is unreal... 16ms... its great... just one prob... dead pixels...

First one I returned had 4 dead pixels... and I returned it and got another one... and this has 1 dead pixel dead in the middle... Parents paid 785 dollars for it at Costco... I already returned it once... what should I do? I want a dead pixel less LCD... :bang head

I know its just alittle pixel, but me knowing its there lol... :eh?:

I would return it and maybe even ask for an refund. Who knows if the shipment was damaged. Dead pixels right out of the box is rare in name brand monitors.

how does a pixel exactly die? i thought a pixel was just like a measurment for a dot on the screen not actualy a physical thing

That sucks, take it back and return it for a different one,and maybe could you get them to test it there on oneof their pc's before you take the new one home..(doubtful.)

On lcd's it is a physical thing

I would definitely return it. I know some places that won't allow you to return it unless it has a certain # of dead pixels which is really stupid IMO.

I went back AGAIN! and brought it back, and we did test it over there, and it looked good there, I guess I didnt look close enough cause it wasnt aparent, but there is another one... but its very very small, and not as appararent as the other one, I can live with it I guess. Oh well, a downfall in LCDs I guess... Im happy for the time being.
