Ghosting?????

i just got a new samsung 912n and it replaced a 19' crt and when i play source its blurry when i move. is this just the way LCDs are or is there a problem with my moniter/settings?

what is the repsonse time? also what resolution are you running the game at, LCD's are really only meant to be run @ their native resolutions, if run below that things can be blurry looking.

the response is 25ms and im running it at 1152*864 and the native is 1200*1024 ill try the native and see what happends

actually it still does it a little.... it is better tho. is there anything else that i should change or am i stuck cause of the 25ms response???

nice 2 problems solved today, i am on a role! - that is somewhat something that is preventing me from buying an LCD is the native resolutions, as i want one with @ least 1280 x which emans i got to have one heck of a vid card! to power games @ that res. and nice details.

as for anything else, the 25ms response maybe what is holding you back and in that case little you can do.

my native is actually 1280 i just wrote that off the top of my head :-P but ya anyways thanks for all your help im gunna try and return the moniter and go with the 19' acer with 16ms from newegg. if you or anyone is interested in a gamer LCD you should take a look at it. nothing but awesome reviews

P.S. if you dont want a moniter that has ghosting stay away from the Samsung SyncMaster 912n :-p
