ViewSonic G90fb-2 w/ Radeon 9800 Pro, flickering-waveness.

I have the above set up in the topic and my screen refresh is 85hz and resolution is 1024x768. Which is what it recommends for my monitor from view sonic, however it flickers a lot of the times sort of gets waviness to it. I degauss it and stuff and it doesn't seem to help. There’s nothing near it that could really affect it as far as electrical interference. What would cause it to flicker then?

I RMAed that exact friggin monitor 3 times and they all had the same problem. It waves back and forth along the horizontal right? I think it has to do with your power. Running the monitor at 60Hz refresh should solve the problem.

Yeah thats the problem, hell I bought a crt cause they were supposed to have better bang for the buck now I wish I just got some LCD. 60 refresh rate is gonna kill meh eyes.

Check for ground loops or some other sort of bad power. The monitor works fine at my old place. It's something to do with your power.
