hi, wa sjuts wondering, as its native res. is wide mode, no 1600x1200, what happens in gmaes that only has 1600x1200 as the option (or other lower full screen res.) does it make the gfx look horrible as its not diplaying in its native res.? does any1 who have one played a game that doesnt have widescreen options?

thanks, bye.

i had a good thread on this somewhere - some games are made to run @ proper 16:9 resolutions, such as half life 2 other games - pending on youe video card will stretch the image but in the case of the panel there is an option to not stretch the image so you would essentially have black bars down the side or tops of your games.

Also, running an LCD out of native res often results in somewhat "blurred" images / text.

Not a big deal, but the Native Res on 2005FPW's is 1680 x 1050, its actually slightly wider than even a normal wide ratio monitor.
