I just been reading some info on CRT moniters and the radition they put off, personally, i dont like it and i wanna get ride of my Viewsonic A90F 19" moniter that iv had for 2 years.

LCD's dont have very good refresh rates, but is thier a good quality LCD that can do @ least 1280x960 or 1280x1024 with 85 or 80hz refresh rate ?

Also somethign that isnt overlly expensive, something in the $300 maybe $400 price range.

If they dont ake emm with 80 or 85hz in that range, then what about 75hz ?

Refresh rates do not matter on LCD like they do on CRT. LCD's don't flicker like crts. 60hz is more than enough.
If I was you I would look into the Samsung 710T its about 389 and is 17"(about as big as a 19" crt) has a 12ms responce and a DVI input.

i was worried about that too before getting my del 2001fp, which has 60hz, but it looks great! at 1600x1200 everythin is so damn clear, before when i use computer for a couple of hours my eyes gets tired and hurts a bit, now my eyes r FINE after hours of games, my eyes love my dell :D
