I am looking for a 12ms LCD for under 300 dollars. Preferably with a DVI input, but not required. Can you guys help me out?

Well, Acer makes this (http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=24-009-028&depa=1) monitor, but it doesn't have DVI. It looks like you have to get bumped up to Samsungs $399 172X (http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=24-001-146&depa=1) to get DVI.

You might have to increase your price range considering the features you want in this monitor for that price.

For under $300, you'll have to settle for either DVI input or 12ms. Not both. This is for 17" LCDs.

I just picked up a BenQ fp-737s-D For $330 canadian after $50 Mfg mail in rebate. Great monitor for the price. 17" monitor with DVI and 16ms response time. It's also plenty bright considering contrast and brightness are @ 45 and 20 respectively. The monitor is the second monitor and aint used for games. I have my 21" Dell FD CRT for that. So the 16ms is fine for me. Movies look great on it also. So if your not planning to game with it, 16ms should be fine.

My main concern is ghosting. How much of a reduction of ghosting will I see going from a 16ms analog lcd to a 12ms analog lcd?
