Alright.. I had to do work on one card.. so I popped in my old voodoo3 pci card.. well.. Everything then had a reddish hue to it. Figuring that the card somehow got jacked up.. I popped back in my Gforce.. and yeah.. Its still got that damned hue to it. I wiggle the wires.. and by twisting it everything goes back to normal..but then I let go, and it goes back to crap. =/

I check around some settings.. and I realize that the green channel is missing totally from the image! So I strip off the wiring to see if any wires got pulled, and no luck.. so maybe one of the pins got jacked up? Im gonna try and take a diffrent adaptor from another monitor thats outta commission and splice it or whatever to this one, since I believe the problem lies within that..

Yeah, looks like a problem with your monitor. Also might want to check where the cable goes into the monitor as well. Its possible that the green electron gun (I think thats whats inside) has failed.

Im having the same problem with my monitor excpet the it has a yellow hue. I have to duct tape the cable right next to the connector to get it to be normal. If you find a solution, please let me know.

I know its not the green gun thats dead for two reasons. One, is that when I twisted the cord right, the green would come back, and two, the little menu built into the monitor works just fine and dandy, no color issues. Does anyone know where I can get a layout of what wire does what?

make sure none of your pins are bent on the connector. i've seen that happen many a time before

Bent pins wouldn't be alleviated by twisting the cord like he mentioned... Thought that was the first thing that came to my mind also.

All the pins are perfect. I looked at that the first instance it happened. I may just buy a refubished one from dell.. The models they got for sell is better than this monitor anyway.
