Looking for a new monitor

Hey im looking for a new monitor, i currently have a 17'' Samsung LCD and I want a monitor that will play games a little better. So im looking at going back to a CRT for gaming. My friend is offering to buy me the monitor for about $250 + shipping so im looking for the best CRT for about that price.

I was looking at possibly either of these, but any suggestions of better monitors is welcome (purpose of this post :) ) :

I absolutly love my Viewsonic p90f
Best monitor I have ever owned
I run at 1280x960 @ 100hz Amazing picture, crystal clear, geat text reability
and the black/silver case combo I got it in is real sexy :D
So I deff recommend Viewsonic =)

My friend has the p95f+B and he loves it, also has the ultrabrite unlike the p90f

only diffrences I see between the p90f and p95f is:
p95f has ultrabrite
p90f has .24 aperture grille
p95f has .25 aperture grille
p95f max rez is 2048x1536 @ 68Hz
p90f max rez is 1920x1440 @ 73Hz

I think im going to get the p95f+b, ill probly order later today. If ayone knows of any other monitors for me to check out, please give me the links.
