View Full Version : damaged pins on my monitor
I know a lot of people must have this problem, a lot of pins that connect from the monitor to computer are so crooked from replugging without a clear view that I actually have to wiggle around the whole thing sometimes or it would display everything in a red tint... what do you guys usually do to correct this? is there anyway to actually switch out the entire cable?

You can use a machanical pencil to straighten out the pins , works for me. :D YEs there is a way to switch out a cable but it involes high voltage and can kill you since you have to remove the casing to replace the cable.

yes
find a old monitor and cut its cord off
strip it and connect the new to the old
pretty straight forward
