Flatscreen monitor came with DVI and VGA adapter...

Well, it is a CTX monitor and it came with the white DVI adapter and the blue VGA. It is going on my friend's PC which has a 9800pro, and I noticed that the 9800pro has both connectors as well... so I am confused on which to plug in? thanks for the help.

k just plugged it in via DVI (totally removed the blue connectors), but I do not notice a difference at all :-/ ... maybe in games and movies?
