arg got a problem with a new laptop (screen/type)

Okay, Got a new laptop. Everything is working good, except, I believe its called cleartype. Lettering/fonts look good, but are a little fuzzy looking, if you turn off clear type, the letters are clear, but get kinda blocky, especially on web page, i.e. cnn.com. Am I missing something here?

Did you tune cleartype or just turn it on? It looks great on my lcd, but I tuned it on mircrosoft's website.
