Gf's monitor

I recently got I Viewsonic G71f+B monitor for my gf from newegg... the only problem is the display has two equally spaced horizontial lines on it should I RMA it... She says the lines dont bother her and shipping would be a pain so what do you think?

If it's an aperature grill as opposed to a shadow mask, those 2 horizontal lines should be there. It's part of the technology, I have them on my NEC and the one before this one too. It's fine.

Do a search or poke around in the Video & Sound section. Also, go to the Viewsonic Website and look in the Support or Faq's section. I found info. about mine on NEC's website with a decent explanation.

Yes, I checked the specs on the monitor and it is an aperture grill.

Those lines are normal for that type of monitor and after awhile you tend to not even notice them:).
