A good mobo would be an Abit TH7 but you should wait for the new P4's to come out . The current P4s are poorly designed and can be beatened by many cheaper platforms.:D

I'd opt against the ASUS board. As much as I'm an ASUS fan, They themselves have declared that they have an intermitent problem with the board not even booting. I had to put together a "demo" system (A system we lend out for 2 weeks to attract potential buyers), and went through 3 MB's before one worked properly. ended up swithcing it for an Apoen board. Problem solved. Normally, I wouldn't suggest Aopen for anything, but in this case, it seems they got it right. The Aopen board works really well. and is stable at stock speed.
