The yellow one looks like an AGP slot.

no, it dont have agp slot. see this: "Slots: 1x PCI-E x16, 1x G.E.A.R., 2x PCI, 2x PCI-E x1" see? it only has 1 pci-e for video cards.

You can put an agp8x video card in the G.E.A.R slot but it will run in PCI mode, which severly impacts performance.

yes but it only justifies if you use a geforce 3 card

no LGA775 gig board have agp + Pci-e slots.. tbh this is something unheard of (at least me)

ECS 915P-A has both AGP and PCI-E.

Any current board with both of these will be terribly slow as the AGP is going through the PCI Bus.

VIA's new chipset will also allow for both AGP and PCI, and apparently, no slowdowns from using AGP. Should be interesting.

b_z_b, I can tell you there used to be a version of the Gigabyte GA8I915P Duo-A which had both PCIe & AGP, but I can not find it anymore. DaveB was thinking about getting one of these, do a search in the forum on above for more information.

Good luck!
