I am looking into buying the
MITSUBISHI DP930SB-BK Diamond Pro 930SB
But dont know if the 2 wires, will bother me or not
so its between the
NEC/MITSUBISHI DP930SB-BK Diamond Pro 930SB
or the Samsung 997DF
I really cant decide so help me
what is better, for the clearest picture and crisp text and brightness, all of the above

Depends on what you do.
Do you spend hours on CAD or writing up reports? Anything that requires detail or to do with text will be superior on a Shadowmask.
Game or watch DVD's? If it's brightness and vivid colour you want, Aperture Grille is where it's at.

Wow, that's not even a fair comparison. You're comparing a professional grade NEC to a mid-range Samsung. I actually went and looked at this Samsung at Circuit City the other day because it was on sale and I wanted to upgrade from my Gateway VX700 (had it since '98). Since my work and home monitors are both aperture grille, I immediately noticed the difference between shadow mask crt's and aperture grille crt's. This Samsung shadow mask looks grainy to me after using aperture grille crt's. The color was dull and you can see the dots on the screen. It's not smooth like the aperture grille. I've also read how shadow mask crt's are better for text and fine detailed content but like I said, it looked grainy, so I don't really understand how shadow mask's are better for text. Colors are more bright and vivid on my old Gateway so I'll take an aperture grille any day.
Definitely go with the NEC. It doesn't even have to be top of line. You could also go with the NEC FE991SB-BK or the Viewsonic P95F+B, both excellent monitors.

No contest for me - Mitsubishi. I got used to those lines on my FD Trinitron fairly quickly... I have to go looking for them most of the time now.
DP930SB hands down.
0.24ag Trinitron FD tube, highly impressive color representation & brightness with superb onscreen controls make this monitor the better choice...

Dell has the DP930SB-BK listed for $287.96 with free shipping (http://www1.us.dell.com/content/topics/promo.aspx/snp%2fsnp_free_shipping?c=us&cs=19&l=en&s=dhs). Does anyone know where to find a better deal than that?

Where did you buy it from vinny?
Also, are the two aperture grille lines easy to spot on that monitor?
