What should I get? I dont want anything bigger than 19"......but I would rather have a LCD, how are those stacking up in gaming? Do they still ghost?

CRT's always gonna be better for gaming. If you really need LCD, get one of those new 12ms ones:

They're gonna be good for gaming, and they support a good resolution for a 17" monitor, but they're kind of expensive.
If you don't have that much money, you should also look into viewsonic. I wouldn't get anything above 16ms for gaming.
